Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST), established in 1980 is a public university located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China. It offers various courses in the field Economics, Art, Science, Engineering and Technology. The university is currently accepting scholarship application for 2018/2019 academic session. The scholarship is a fully funded undergraduate scholarship covering full tuition fee, accommodation, living expenses, etc.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, applicants must be:

• Non-Chinese citizen in good health, citizen of ‘One Belt One Road’ countries;
• High school graduate certification or above;
• 18 - 40 years old;
• Excellent in high school academic performance;
• Language proficiency certification; (IELTS or TOEFL for English-taught programs, HSK 4 for Chinese-taught programs);
• Applicable nations :"One Belt and One Road countries"

Scholarship Coverage

Note: The scholarship covers the applicants’ study duration of 4 years. The applicants will receive an annual assessment of their academic performance and behavior from CSC(China Scholarship Council). If the applicants fail the assessment, the scholarship will be canceled.

The results after submission will come out in Sep. Applicants need to pay about 3000 RMB seat reserve fee before they come to China to get self-sponsored program seat at first. The seat reserve fee will be used as tuition fee after student registered in the school. The university will review those students who paid seat reserve fee and got self-sponsored admission's scholarship application and decide whether or not offer applicant scholarship.

2. Passport photo

3. Photocopy of high school diploma certificate (Notarized version). Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

4. Photocopy of high school transcript (Notarized version). Academic transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

5. Photocopy of English proficiency test (IELTS or TOEFL) or Chinese proficiency test (HSK) transcripts;

6. Two letters of recommendation (either in English or Chinese);

7. A Study Plan or Research Proposal  (either in English or Chinese, minimum of 200 words)

8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form;

9. CSC application form and university application form.
